Custom Links Page Layouts

In the last blog post, I talked about ditching Linktree and why you should do it. I also gave some things to keep in mind when creating your own custom links page. Today I’ll be going over some custom links page layouts and which one might be best for who to use. Click on the titles of each layout to see them in action.

The OG Custom Links Page

The first type of links page is the original. It’s just your Instagram handle and links underneath. It looks like a Linktree layout but it’s just on your website. If you just want something up and don’t want to be fancy at all, choose this option.

The Fun Custom Links Page

The fun one has more than just links on it. It has the links, some fun facts about you, and a photo of you on there. If you want to show personality, this layout is best and will help your links page stand out. You can make it as fun as you want. Go wild (but not too wild.)

The About Custom Links Page

The about one is cool. It has a photo or two, an about section, and the links on there. If you want to squeeze in the know factor on your links page, go this route. You can have the about section at the top of the page, on the side, or at the bottom under the links. I really suggest this if you have a course or a program you want to draw people to.

The Minimal Custom Links Page

The minimal one is my favorite because its basic like me but still on-brand. It has your logo, a little welcome message, a photo as the background, and your links. If you want something that on-brand, simple, easy, and gets the job done, this is your best bet.

Your custom links page doesn’t have to be complicated at all.

In fact, you can have as little as you want on there. If you have two links, put them on there, if you have three, even better. Remember not to have more than 5 or 6 links on your custom links page. No one is going to visit them all and it’ll just look like too much is going on. Another thing to remember is that you want your most important link at the top and the least important at the bottom. Again, don’t make it complicated by having fiftyleven links with long-ass titles.

Curious to see which layout I’m using? The Minimal.

Custom links page. There's an ipad, glass cup, and vase in the background. Orange banner with booking information is at the top. The August Creative logo underneath the banner. A tan box with rounded end buttons with different words on them.

I have an announcement banner at the top, my logo, a little welcome message, and my top 5 links from most important to least important.

You always want to make sure that you know what your main goal is for that month or year or however long. Since I only have one offer, I want to book that one offer so that will always be the most important link I want people to click on when they go to this page from my Instagram.

Feel free to share this with your business besties. If you decide to use one of these layouts, hit me up on Instagram and let me know which one you decided to go with.

I’m now booking Website VIP Experience for February 8th – March 29th. If you’re interested in working with me, feel free to visit my website and book a call or you can book your experience. I include a custom links page for every experience.
